He finds that being around the pirates is not an easy thingThis is the second book in the Ascendance Trilogy and it does not disappoint. Jaron shows that even though he is king he is having a hard time adjusting from being gone for years. He also knows what he has to do to keep his country and people he cares about safe. He is not afraid of danger, and in the end just wants to be the king his father would have valued. This is a great series.
