Bethesda knows what she is going to do for her Special Project for Mr. Melville's Social Studies class. She is going to figure out one of the teacher's secret life. And she decides to choose Ms. Finkleman. What she finds out and shares with the whole school is that Ms. Finkleman has a rock star past. Ms. Finkleman is not thrilled that her secret is out so she enlists Bethesda and Tenny to work for her and run the class for her to prepare them for the choir competition. Things don't exactly turn out as planned though, but it just might be better than they hoped.Such a fun book. Haven't kids always wondered what their teacher's did before they became a teacher? I bet some teachers really could have been rock stars and are waiting for someone to find out. I loved that two characters that normally would not associate with each other are forced to talk to each other and become friends. Great middle school read
