These are two great books for upper elementary and middle school readers. They are historical fiction books, but with a new twist. They are choose your own adventure books. In each book you choose your path through the war. You can be a soldier, a civilian, and make your own way. What I liked about these is that readers learn a ton of information, from the eyes of someone in history. Great books!!I purchased these books at Costco
