Blue and her mother spend each St. Mark's Eve in the cemetery waiting to see who will be joining the land of the dead in the next year. Blue never sees them but this year is different! This year she actually can see one boy, Gansey, and she knows that he will die but does not know how to help him. Blue also knows one fact, stay away from boys especially if they are part of the Raven Boys! But when she meets Adam, Ronan, Noah, and Gansey she cannot help but to get pulled into their world. She is instantly joined with them in their hunt for answers to their questions. With much danger ahead and not knowing what exactly will be happening they set off on this quest together.This book had so much mystery in it. It was full of twists that I was not prepared for. I thought that unlike her other books that were more laid out in a clear story, I was confused at times by where this story was going. I did really enjoy this book and cannot wait to see what is going to happen to the characters in the rest of the series. It had quite a bit of paranormal strange things in it that made it quite an interesting plot. Great read for high school readers.
